An Element-Inspired Engineering Workspace

Design Colab delivered a full turnkey FF&E solution for Jones & Wagner’s new engineering headquarters in Sunninghill, Johannesburg. The design concept was inspired by the natural elements central to mining. Warm tan leather finishes reference fire and earth, while blue upholstery introduces the water element aligned with the company’s brand colours. Soft wallpaper tones and greenery add the final “air” element for a balanced atmosphere.

Custom desks and boardroom tables were manufactured using durable materials suited to the company’s engineering work, while natural oak finishes introduce warmth and authenticity. The result is a contemporary workspace that blends technical functionality with thoughtful design, supporting both everyday work and client engagement.
